We really enjoyed our haircut experience at Locks of Fun. Our boys enjoyed picking out a car to sit in and movie to watch, plus the play area and treats. It's a little on the pricey side for us so we only go for special occasions or if we have a coupon. Our kids do well anywhere getting their haircut though. If your kid needs a more kid friendly experience to sit still and get a good cut then definitely go here.
Cute hair salon for kids! The stylists(we always ask for Aimee) all seem to be good at cutting hair and friendly. Price is a little expensive in my opinion BUT kids like it, its a fun experience for them, the kids get popcorn and juice for free and also a free coupon for an item at a couple local shops close to Locks of Fun so its worth it.
This place is not only a fantastic idea but the staff is great and very friendly/accommodating. They have car/tractor/truck kid friendly seats plus ask about what your child would like to watch while they're getting their hair cut. It really makes the hair cutting experience easy and less stressful (for mom and dads too). Jen did a great job on our son's hair while he was pretending to drive the Mickey car and his hair still looks nice 3 weeks later. The price is what I would expect to pay for a kid's haircut and I really can't say one bad thing about this place! I would definitely recommend making an appointment as they are always very busy.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I drove 45 minutes-today to take my two year old here to get his hair cut. We walked in and there was one stylist cutting a little girls hair and two others sitting down. We walked up to the counter and they asked if we had an appointment, told them that we did not and he only needs a trim. The lady behind the desk looks at her watch and then looks at the other stylist who was still sitting on her butt, and says well its 1:40, you will need to make an appointment and we can probably get you in around 3:30 mind you it was completely dead, only one child getting a cut in there. I told her I wasnt aware that we needed to make an appointment(and it definitely doesnt say that on their website ) and that we drove 45 minutes to come there. She seemed un interested- so we left and went to hair cuttery and had an amazing experience there.
