Pros: The check in staff was friendly, the rooms are modern and have been updated, and it was really quiet. Cons: You have to enter apple bees parking lot to get to the place, there isn't very much parking, the room smelled awful, there was black mold in the bathroom, there was mildew on the shower curtain, you don't have privacy in the bathroom because of the sliding door, the base boards and behind the dresser needs to be cleaned, and they charged me twice for my room (they did eventually fix this problem). I have stayed in better hotels but I have also stayed in worse. They do have a problem with bugs (we saw stink bugs) so be careful.
The service was great, but there is no pool and there is hardly any channels to watch. Their food was delicious and the maids did a wonderful job of making sure our hotel was clean and welcoming.
Stayed with a group there for an event at Valparaiso University. Staff was very accommodating of our needs and extremely friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Next morning the breakfast hit the spot with more choices than most "free" breakfasts. Recommend this as a quiet place to relax of anyone in the area.
The front desk person John was great. He was very helpful and pleasant. Housekeeping was horrible, our room was left open all day by the housekeeper. They never stocked our toilet paper or towels and in 3 days they never once cleaned out bathroom. We actually had no toilet paper on our last day. I got tired of going to the front desk everyday.
