Amazing! Prime rib and shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Kelsey's red potatoes were very good. Food and drinks were served promptly. Our waitress, Lupe, never let a drink get low, made sure we were well taken care of, and was very personable. She is AWESOME!!!
Have had larger steaks at other places for the same price. Lots of upcharges for steak toppings. Ordered a $30 filet and they want $4.95 for blue cheese on it? No thanks. A fly flew into my wife's wine glass. They replaced it but kept it on the bill. Service was good.
Our first visit to Kelsey's Steak and Seafood was on one of their busiest days of the year, Mother's Day. Despite it being so busy our service and food were both very good.As it was a special occasion they were offering several specials, we selected a generous portion of fried calms. The order was filled with big, fat strips of yummy clam meat. It was a great choice. We also enjoyed the Lake Perch, the shrimp that came with the steak medallions, and the Snicker pie. It was all delicious.The restaurant itself is quite large, there is a bar with seating available for dining as well as drinking. However, the restroom is small in comparison. The size of the restroom could make it a little challenging for wheelchairs.One other note, the wine list online is not current...so don't pick out a wine before you arrive at the restaurant. Don't despair though, the wine choices in the menu were good.
I had a disappointing experience at Kelseys this evening. After a long wait for our table we were hungry and excited to be seated. Our waitress seemed miserable and had a very bad attitude. After waiting patiently for our food I received my steak, it was very over cooked and dry and after taking my first bite I realised there were 2 hairs cooked into the steak - yuk!! I called over the waitress and asked to speak with a manager, she left with the food and returned to tell me the manager was busy and that the steak had been removed from the bill. That was it - She didnt apologize, she didnt ask if I wanted anything else and never returned to our table until we needed the bill.
In town for a visit and stopped in. The food was well prepared and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the scallops. My server Alyssa was excellent. Attentive, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. One of the best servers I've ever had! Thanks Alyssa!
