The Sementos continue to maintain a fine Valparaiso tradition ... and have improved it with an upgrade of spacious outside seating and the addition of outside game venues and bar service, along with a nice restroom renovation. Cider is served cold with a frosty mug, and the bar staff ... among them, Dena, Tara, Jen, Lonnie, Stephanie ... is funny, friendly, and engaging. Food .... such as Italian beef and BLT sandwiches, chili and chicken strips, and various types of hamburgers ... has been and continues to be reasonably-priced, substantial in quantity, and flavorful in taste.
You'd never guess when driving by, but this place has a tiered patio out back. They have patio furniture with umbrellas, shuffle board, corn hole and other games. It was pretty cool. They have a bar/restaurant that allows smoking, and there are games inside too! We had dinner there... the waitress recommended their sauteed shrimp. Wow! They were amazing!! We'll go back!
Love coming here! The people are great, the atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious! A note, they do have a non-smoking family side, but most of the place is smoking. Doesn't bother me, but it can get a little heavy when they're busy, so if it does bother you, you may want to go on a slow night.
