Barbara and Efrain provided us an amazing stay! They were able to get us in on a massage last minute and we started off our weekend relaxing the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was spectacular! No detail went unnoticed! I loved the breakfasts we enjoyed each morning, you could tell they were made from the heart and very artistic. The birds were also an enjoyable site to see! I would love to come back and stay here!
We stayed here overnight during a long weekend visiting friends in Valparaiso and attending family events in Chicago and Michigan. It was a lovely bit of respite in a very busy weekend! We enjoyed our stay in the Cardinal Suite with a very comfortable king size bed and a wall of windows facing the woods where we could hear birds singing in the morning. Breakfast was a beautiful work of art with many interesting edible flowers and leaves from their garden and property. The attention to detail and comfort of their property was phenomenal. We didn't get to take advantage of their spa services or tour much of the property since we were only there one night, but we hope to come back again and see more.
Wow! What a wonderful experience! My husband & I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Barbara and Efrain are phenomenal, gracious hosts with an eye for detail. The breakfasts were delicious and definitely worthy of a 5 star rating! While eating breakfast we enjoyed looking and listening to the birds and wildlife. Their home is beautiful, rooms are luxurious and clean. It is evident that these hosts are committed to 100% guest satisfaction, in fact, they exceeded our expectations! Choose Songbird Prairie! We highly recommend you call and make a reservation!
This bed and breakfast is fantastic. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had the most romantic and relaxing time. The innkeepers are gracious and notoriously attentive to detail. The rooms were absolutely beautify. We also recommend making a couple's message reservation while staying at this home. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future!
My wife and I stayed here on a little getaway and it was fantastic!! The people there were so nice and provided excellent service. We stayed in the robin suite and it was beautiful. It had a huge jacuzzi tub for two, and even had a heated toilet seat! The bed was extremely comfortable. The entire facility is well maintained and perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfast in the morning topped the whole trip off. It was awesome to watch the birds while eating a 3 course meal. I can't recommend this place enough!!
